Teen arrested in Peoria automobile crash that killed household of 5

Peoria police have arrested a youngster for inflicting a November automobile crash that killed 5 folks, together with three youngsters.

Authorities say Peoria officers situated the 17-year-old boy Thursday morning in neighboring Glendale.

The teenager, who just isn’t being recognized due to his age, was booked into jail on 5 counts of second-degree homicide. He’s at the moment being held in a juvenile detention facility.

O the evening of Nov. 20, a Jeep SUV struck a Mazda van because it was making a left flip.

The Mazda was carrying two adults and 4 youngsters. All of them had been sporting seatbelts or correct restraints. However 36-year-old Elizabeth Simpson of Glendale and 31-year-old Jace Hochstetler of Phoenix died on the scene. Three of the kids, together with a 14-year-old woman, later died.

The teenager driver of the Jeep suffered minor accidents.
