St. Louis would-be car-jackers run away on foot after sufferer refuses to surrender keys, shot in leg

A person in St. Louis was shot after confronting two males making an attempt to carjack his car.

In response to the St. Louis Police, on Saturday, March 18, the 20-year-old male sufferer was approached by two Black males whereas on the car parking zone of a gasoline station within the 4700 block of S. Spring in south St. Louis and demanded his automobile keys.

The sufferer allegedly refused handy over his automobile keys, prompting one of many perpetrators to take out a gun and shoot him as soon as in his left leg.

Following the assault, the 2 offenders “fled on foot,” in keeping with the St. Louis Police Division. Authorities shared that the 2 males didn’t steal the sufferer’s car following the assault. 

A witness, who was with the sufferer on the time of the incident, drove the sufferer to an area hospital for remedy. 

The St. Louis Police Division famous that officers obtained the decision following the incident, at roughly 2:15 a.m.
