Russell Crowe says his pet died in his arms after being hit by a truck: ‘He stole my coronary heart’

Russell Crowe revealed Thursday his 16-month-old pet died in his arms this week after being hit by a truck. 

“That is Louis the Papillion,” the “Gladiator” actor wrote on his Twitter together with a closeup of the black and white canine. “16 months outdated. Tiny, cheeky, courageous. He gained my coronary heart.

“Sadly in the present day, on the second anniversary of my fathers passing, Louis was hit by a truck. We tried to get him to the vet, however he died in my arms whereas I used to be telling him how a lot we beloved him.”

Crowe instructed Australian radio present “Kyle & Jackie O” this week that it’ll take a while to recover from Louis’ dying.

“He was such a good looking little pup, and he sort of wrapped us round him and we formed our lives round him. In order that’s going to take some time to get previous.”

“I’m by no means a fan of dressing canines up, however, a buddy purchased little Louis a ⁦@RalphLauren polo so he can match with dad,” Crowe tweeted. “I feel the opposite canines on the farm are going to get jealous. Fairly humorous.”

Crowe misplaced his 85-year-old father John March 30, 2021.
