Omar appeared Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” alongside Reps. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., after McCarthy eliminated the latter two from the Home Intelligence Committee, citing nationwide safety considerations.

Omar, who has apologized previously for repeating antisemitic tropes, mentioned Republicans are focusing on her as a result of she’s Muslim.
