Liberals rage at 60 Minutes for interviewing Marjorie Taylor Greene: ‘Legitimizing a ghoul’

The announcement that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., could be showing on this Sunday’s episode of CBS “60 Minutes” infuriated distinguished liberals on social media this week.

Figures together with MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan, NBC Information Ben Collins, former GOP Congressman Adam Kinzinger, liberal commentator Elie Mystal, gun management activist David Hogg and others, took to Twitter to slam the CBS program for internet hosting Greene, one of many high-profile MAGA supporters in Congress.

The CBS program’s efforts to talk to the well-known right-wing politician weren’t welcomed by liberals on the platform.

Frequent MSNBC visitor and The Nation correspondent Elie Mystal blistered CBS’ obvious civil therapy of the GOP congresswoman. He decried that the community referred to Greene by her nickname, as if it signified some friendliness between each events.

Former CNN anchor John Harwood mocked 60 Minutes’ tweet, writing, “’Her opinions.’”
