Lee Zeldin assault suspect arrested on federal assault cost

The suspect within the assault of Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., was arrested Saturday afternoon on a federal assault cost, the U.S. Lawyer’s Workplace within the Western District of New York introduced.

David Jakubonis is scheduled to make his first courtroom look earlier than U.S. Justice of the Peace Decide Marion W. Payson Saturday. Zeldin is operating for New York governor as a Republican.

Jakubonis, 43 of Fairport, New York, has been charged with tried assault within the second diploma on the state degree. He was arraigned in Perinton City Courtroom and launched on his personal recognizance after the Thursday assault.
