A big hearth in a Massachusetts boat yard destroyed a number of boats, buildings and automobiles Friday, creating sufficient smoke that it was picked up by climate radar.
In footage taken by a neighborhood new outlet the boatyard was engulfed in flames and black smoke.

The extent of the injury is unclear. However on the Mattapoisett Boatyard’s web site it says the boatyard caters primarily to leisure boaters, and has the capability to retailer as much as 150 vessels.
“A ship caught hearth in one of many sheds, and it went up very, very quick,” Tim Value, a mechanic on the boatyard, informed WJAR-TV. “All the things went up. I feel we misplaced every part.”
