5 Missouri law enforcement officials injured after being struck by SUV pushed by suspected drunk driver

5 St. Louis-area law enforcement officials have been injured early Wednesday after they have been struck by an SUV pushed by a suspected drunken driver.

Three of the officers have been in severe situation and two suffered average accidents, the Missouri State Freeway Patrol stated. A 2-year-old lady within the Jeep Cherokee that struck the officers suffered minor accidents.

The accident occurred at 1:42 a.m. on Interstate 270 in Maryland Heights, Missouri. The officers are a part of a regional process power that focuses on auto thefts and different crimes.


The officers had chased a suspected automotive thief who crashed and have been dealing with that wreckage after they have been hit.
