‘Will Suspend Flight For 2 Weeks If Anyone Is Found Doing Photography Inside It’

New Delhi: Aviation regulator DGCA on Saturday stated a scheduled flight will probably be suspended for a interval of two weeks if anybody is discovered doing pictures inside it.

The Directorate Basic of Civil Aviation (DGCA) requested IndiGo on Friday to take “appropriate action” after the regulator discovered alleged violation of security and social distancing protocols by mediapersons within the airline’s Chandigarh-Mumbai flight that had actor Kangana Ranaut as a passenger.

In accordance with a video of the incident that happened inside Wednesday’s flight, reporters and cameramen have been jostling and bunching as much as get a remark from Ranaut, who was sitting in one of many entrance rows of the airplane.

The DGCA order on Saturday stated, “It has been decided that from now on, incase any violation (photography) occurs on any scheduled passenger aircraft – the schedule of flight for that particular route shall be suspended for a period of two weeks from the next day (of the incident).”
