‘Vande Mataram’ Sung By Shillong Chamber Choir To Be Played During Chandrayaan-2 Landing

“Vande Mataram”, which is written and composed by Neil Nongkynrih and sung by Shillong Chamber Choir, will probably be performed in the course of the touchdown of Chandrayaan-2 on the floor of the moon.

“Shillong Chamber Choir (SCC) is delighted to share the news that the “Chandrayaan Mission – 2” will probably be beamed to billions world wide and its moon touchdown will probably be accompanied by Neil Nongkynrih’s very personal ‘Vande Mataram’ which is sung by the Shillong Chamber Choir,” Shillong Chamber Choir mentioned in a press release.

The moon touchdown is scheduled for dwell telecast on Friday, September 6, from 11:30 pm onwards on the Nationwide Geographic Channel, Hotstar and Star Plus.

The Chandrayaan-2 Vikram lander is ready to land on the floor of Moon within the early hours of Saturday (September 7). The Vikram lander is scheduled to make its smooth touchdown between 1:30 to 2:30 am.
