PD: Man eliminated ankle monitor, stole $80Ok

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – A 39-year-old man stole about $87,000 throughout two robberies at St. Louis County banks in Might, police stated.

Prosecutors charged 39-year-old Walter Hopson, of Florissant, Tuesday with theft and stealing from a monetary establishment. He’s being held on a $100.000 bond.

On Might 7, Hopson allegedly threatened a financial institution clerk on the US Financial institution on Larimore Street to offer him cash whereas alluding that he had a gun.
