New Delhi: The demise toll in northeast Delhi communal violence over the amended citizenship legislation rose to 20 on Wednesday, in response to GTB Hospital authorities.
On Tuesday, the demise toll was 13.
“The death toll has risen to 20 today,” Medical Superintendent of GTB Hospital, Sunil Kumar, informed PTI.
In the meantime, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday mentioned the Military must be known as in as police is unable to manage the scenario regardless of all its efforts following the violence in elements of northeast Delhi.
