Southwest monsoon hits Kerala, confirms IMD

New Delhi: The southwest monsoon has made an onset over Kerala, marking the graduation of the four-month lengthy rainfall season, the India Meteorological Division mentioned on Monday.

“The southwest monsoon has made an onset over Kerala,” IMD director common Mrutyunjay Mohapatra mentioned.

The four-month monsoon season from June to September accounts for 75 per cent of rainfall within the nation.
