New Delhi: The CBI on Friday carried out searches at 9 places in Manipur, Meghalaya and Haryana, together with the residence of former Chief Minister O. Ibobi Singh and stated that it has recovered money to the tune of Rs 11.47 lakh and Rs 26.49 lakh in demonetised forex from his residence.

The CBI stated it was alleged that the accused whereas working as Chairman of the Manipur Growth Society from June 30, 2006 to July 2017, in conspiracy with others misappropriated authorities funds to the tune of Rs 332 crore out of the overall quantity of Rs 518 crore which was given to them for executing varied works.
From the residence of Y. Ningthem Singh the company recovered Rs 10 lakh in demonetised forex and paperwork of immovable property – two double-storeyed homes constructed over 3500 sq. yards with backyard and swimming pool.
The company stated that in searches on the residence of Pooniait it discovered the paperwork pertaining to 1 flat in Uniworld metropolis in Gurugram, one residential plot in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida, two retailers in New Delhi’s Dwarka and one flat in Saket, one Hyundai Creta automotive and 7 financial institution accounts.
From the residence of Lawmuknga, the CBI discovered Rs four lakh in money and from the residence of O. Nabakishore Singh the company discovered paperwork pertaining to a four-storeyed constructing of 7000 sq ft together with two homes, 9 financial institution accounts and immovable properties – one flat in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, one in Haryana’s Gurugram, an under-construction two-storeyed constructing in Manipur and a Hyundai dealership within the identify of his sons and spouse at Imphal.
