Rima Das’ critically acclaimed movie ‘Bulbul Can Sing’ gained the Nationwide Movie Award for the Finest Assamese Movie.

The 66th Nationwide Movie awards have been introduced by Rahul Rawail, head of the Jury for characteristic movies, on Friday, August 9.

419 movies competed for the awards this 12 months and the nationwide movie awards are given in 31 classes.

“Bulbul Can Sing” is a coming-of-age drama a few teenage lady. Bulbul, dwelling in a village in Assam, combating her approach via love and loss as she figures out who she actually is.

The movie has already earned praises in numerous worldwide movie festivals together with the Berlin Movie Pageant and Toronto Movie Pageant.

Earlier on August 8, ‘Bulbul Can Sing’ gained the Finest Indie Movie’ Award on the Indian Movie Pageant of Melbourne (IFFM) 2019.
