Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has unequivocally declared her intention to defeat incumbent Republican Gov. Brian Kemp in an Election Day message.
“My title is Stacey Abrams and I intend to be the subsequent governor of the nice state of Georgia,” Abrams tweeted Tuesday, as voters head to the poll field.

Abrams, who unsuccessfully ran in opposition to Kemp in 2018, has trailed the Republican governor within the polls regardless of report fundraising. Kemp and his household solid their ballots Tuesday morning and urged voters to prove and assist him for re-election.
“4 years later…the Kemps solid our votes this morning to maintain Georgia the BEST place to reside, work, and lift a household!” Kemp wrote on Twitter. “Seize your mates, household, and family members immediately and get out and VOTE!”
