Schumer breaks silence on Chinese language spy balloon, praises Biden admin for capturing it down

Senate Majority Chief Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., provided reward for the Biden administration’s choice to shoot down a Chinese language spy balloon that had hovered over a number of states within the final two days.

“I strongly condemn President Xi’s brazen incursion into American airspace, and I commend President Biden’s management in taking down the Chinese language balloon over water to make sure security for all People,” Schumer wrote in a tweet, following the U.S. navy’s removing of the balloon over the Atlantic Ocean.

“Now we are able to acquire the gear and analyze the know-how utilized by the CCP,” Schumer added.

Schumer, who has been largely silent on the Chinese language spy balloon because it entered American airspace earlier this week, provided his feedback after the U.S. navy shot down the Chinese language spy balloon from airspace simply off the coast of South Carolina.
