An Ohio congressman on Friday requested his GOP Home colleagues to think about submitting articles of impeachment in opposition to President Biden for an “unconstitutional” order to increase the eviction moratorium and for his “dereliction” of responsibility in securing the southern border.
Rep. Bob Gibbs, R-Ohio, despatched a letter to his fellow Republicans urging them to hunt impeachment as a result of Biden “continues to ignore his constitutional duties and limits,” he mentioned.

“The President is derelict in his responsibility, having repeatedly mentioned he lacks the authority to increase the CDC’s eviction moratorium, then extending it anyway,” Gibbs mentioned in an announcement. “His actions on the border symbolize a negligence in retaining America safe. We have to reduce this off on the cross now and present we is not going to stand for clearly unconstitutional actions.”
Any GOP effort to question Biden is an extended shot since Republicans do not management the Home or the Senate.

However Gibbs is not the primary Home Republican to hunt impeachment: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., filed articles of impeachment in opposition to Biden the day after his inauguration.
