PM Narendra Modi Pays Tributes To Sardar Patel At Statue Of Unity

Kevadiya: Oct 31 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid floral tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India’s first residence minister, on the 182-meter tall Statue of Unity right here on his 145th beginning anniversary.

Sardar Patel’s beginning anniversary is being celebrated as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ (Nationwide Unity Day) since 2014.

Modi, whose two-day Gujarat go to began on Friday, reached the Statue of Unity at Kevadiya in Narmada district this morning and provided flowers on the toes of the monument of Sardar Patel.
