Pakistan’s Ceasefire Violation At LoC: BSF Officer Martyred

Jammu: A Border Safety Pressure (BSF) officer was killed in ceasefire violation on the Line of Management (LoC) by Pakistani troops in J&Okay’s Rajouri district on Tuesday.

“The Pakistan Army indulged in unprovoked ceasefire violation in Rajouri Sector on the LoC, in which BSF Sub-Inspector Paotinsat Guite attained martyrdom while displaying conspicuous bravery in not only retaliating to the enemy fire, but also by saving lives of many of his colleagues,” a BSF assertion mentioned.

BSF IG NS Jamwal mentioned that the martyred officer was a gallant and honest borderman and the nation will at all times stay indebted to the braveheart.

The deceased officer belonged to Manipur. His mortal stays might be despatched to Imphal by air.

Earlier on Friday, three Indian troopers have been killed in ceasefire violations on the Line of Management (LoC) by Pakistan troops in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch and Rajouri districts. Although the Indian Military instantly responded to the unprovoked firing from throughout the border, the nation misplaced three troopers within the gunfight.
