A medium-intensity earthquake measuring 3.Eight on the Richter scale jolted Assam and neighbouring states at round 10:20 pm on Tuesday, November 19.
The epicenter of the quake is alleged to be 30 km from Assam’s Nagaon district.

There was no report of any injury to life and property as a result of earthquake.
