Manipur Authorities has determined to impose a complete lockdown for 7 days ranging from 2 pm on July 23.
The choice has been taken in an emergency assembly of the State Cupboard chaired by Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh in view of the present COVID-19 scenario within the state.
The COVID-19 scenario within the state can be reviewed after seven days of lockdown and additional plan of action can be taken accordingly.
“In view of the current COVID-19 situation in Manipur, the emergency State cabinet meeting has decided to impose total lockdown for 7 days starting from 02:00 pm of July 23, 2020 which might be extended further for 7 more days,” CM N Biren Singh mentioned in a tweet on Wednesday.
“I appeal all to abide by lockdown guidelines,” he added.
In view of the present COVID-19 scenario in Manipur, the emergency State cupboard assembly has determined to impose whole lockdown for 7 days ranging from 02:00 pm of July 23, 2020 which may be prolonged additional for 7 extra days.

To this point, 2,060 COVID-19 constructive instances have been reported within the Manipur. Out of which 1,418 sufferers have recovered. The entire variety of energetic instances within the state now stands at 642.
