Ghaziabad: Journalist Vikram Joshi, who was shot at by armed assailants close to his residence in Vijay Nagar, Ghaziabad on June 20, handed away on Wednesday.
The scribe was attacked when he was coming back from his sister’s home alongside along with his two daughters on a bike on Monday night time. He had suffered a bullet damage on his head after assailants opened fireplace at him close to his residence.
The physician of a personal hospital monitoring Joshi stated that the veins within the journalists’ head had acquired badly broken as a result of bullet damage.
The assault is believed to be the fallout of a criticism that Joshi had lodged on the Vijay Nagar police station on July 16. He had complained that some individuals had been harassing his niece.
Within the CCTV footage, the bike will be seen being intercepted by a gaggle of males who surrounded the bike, and began pulling and hitting the rider.

9 individuals have been arrested in reference to the capturing incident.

Joshi’s brother, Aniket Joshi had stated, “A few men were harassing his niece a few days ago and my brother had opposed it and also filed a police complaint. A case was also registered following which he was shot at by those miscreants.”
The journalist’s household has accused the police of inaction because the criticism was lodged on July 16 after a scuffle between Joshi and the miscreants.
