India’s Supercomputer ‘PARAM Siddhi-AI’ To Use Nvidia Tech

Pune: Graphics large Nvidia on Monday mentioned that India’s largest excessive efficiency computing-Synthetic Intelligence (HPC-AI) supercomputer PARAM Siddhi-AI will use its know-how together with indigenously developed HPC-AI engine, software program frameworks and Cloud platform by the nation’s Centre for Growth of Superior Computing (C-DAC).

Nvidia mentioned that the supercomputer will likely be based mostly on its DGX SuperPOD reference structure, a turnkey AI infrastructure, making it doable for organisations to put in highly effective AI supercomputers with extraordinary velocity — in lots of instances in only a few weeks’ time.

“Nvidia is committed to supporting nations across the globe in their mission to advance the frontiers of AI-enabled research,” Charlie Boyle, Normal Supervisor and Vice-President of DGX techniques at Nvidia, mentioned in a press release.

“The turnkey Nvidia DGX SuperPOD architecture is central to helping C-DAC deploy its supercomputer in record time. With this new AI supercomputer, C-DAC will be able to unleash AI innovation at incredible scale to help India address some of its most important challenges now, and in the future”.

C-DAC mentioned that the PARAM Siddhi-AI scalable infrastructure will speed up experiments and outcomes for India-specific grand problem issues in healthcare, training, power, cybersecurity, house, automotive and agriculture.

PARAM Siddhi-AI will play a pivotal position in growing a vibrant ecosystem for analysis and innovation in science and engineering, it mentioned.

“It will catalyse partnerships with academia, industry, MSMEs and startups,” mentioned Hemant Darbari, Director Normal, C-DAC.
