India Beat New Zealand By 44 Runs Via DLS Method

Bloemfontein: India beat New Zealand by 44 runs in a rain-hit remaining group A League encounter to set-up a quarter-final conflict with Australia within the ICC U-19 World Cup right here on Friday.

Batting first, India scored 115 for no loss in 23 overs as rai performed spoilsport. Yashasvi Jaiswal (57 no) and Divyansh Saxena (52 no) struck unbeaten half-centuries.

New Zealand wanted 193 as per revised Duckworth Lewis Stern (DLS) methodology and have been bowled out for 147 in 21 overs with leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi taking Four for 30 and left-arm spinner Atharva Ankolekar grabbing Three for 28.
