IMD Predicts Heavy Rainfall In Assam & Other Northeast States During Next 5 Days

The India Meteorological Division (IMD) on Tuesday predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in lots of elements of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura through the subsequent 5 days.

After predicting heavy rainfall, the IMD has issued a red-colour coded climate alert for Assam and Meghalaya.

“Red-colour coded warning has been issued to Assam and Meghalaya for the next three days,” IMD director common Mrurunjay Mohapatra was quoted as saying by PTI.
