Hindu lawmaker in Pakistan tests positive for coronavirus

Islamabad: A number one Hindu lawmaker from Pakistan’s Sindh province has examined constructive for the novel coronavirus, officers stated on Wednesday.

Rana Hamir Singh, a member of the Sindh provincial meeting from the ruling Pakistan Peoples Get together (PPP), was elected from the Tharparker district in 2018.

Tharparkar Deputy Commissioner Dr Shahzad Tahir instructed reporters that Singh has examined constructive for the novel coronavirus .

He lately met Abdul Rasheed, a provincial lawmaker of right-wing Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal celebration, on the inauguration of a MEDICAL ventilator room in Mithi, the principle city of the district.

Later, Rasheed was examined constructive, which prompted the authorities to take samples of Singh and 25 others who had are available in contact. Officers stated that solely Singh has examined constructive.

Singh is the 26th Rana of Amarkot’ the place his clan is settled. His father Rana Chandra Singh served as a federal minister within the Cupboard of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif within the 1990s.
