Former Indian Footballer Laishram Manitombi Singh Passes Away

Kolkata: Former Indian footballer Laishram Manitombi Singh handed away on Sunday. The All India Soccer Federation (AIFF) condoled the demise of Manitombi.

He was a member of the Indian squad that triumphed the LG Cup on the Ho Chi Minh Metropolis in Vietnam in 2002. The previous worldwide participant was 39 when he handed away.

The suitable full-back got here off the bench in opposition to hosts Vietnam on August 6, 2002 to make his worldwide debut. Apart from representing India in that event, he performed in two friendlies in opposition to Jamaica at Watford and Wolverhampton.
