Designed by AGi Architects, Mission Potential – the Alternative Pavilion was conceived as a big plaza to replicate its purpose of offering a platform for social and cross-cultural engagement.
Floating 32 metres above the bottom, the pavilion’s cover represents clouds, that are in fixed transformation, and the desires that all of us aspire to realize, whereas a terracotta ‘carpet’ covers the bottom and the pavilion’s facade, representing Earth and welcoming guests to share their experiences.
The pavilion’s exhibition has been designed by ALEC Match Out and ICARIA Atelier.
