Willow Smith talks father Will Smith slapping Chris Rock on the Oscars: ‘Humanness generally isn’t accepted’

Rock is reportedly not focused on exchanging pleasantries with Smith.

In a brand new interview with Billboard, Willow says that the notorious slap did not “rock me as a lot as my very own inner demons.”

Willow was fast to defend her father.

“I see my complete household as being human, and I really like and settle for them for all their humanness,” the 21-year-old stated.

“Due to the place that we’re in, our humanness generally isn’t accepted, and we’re anticipated to behave in a manner that isn’t conducive to a wholesome human life and isn’t conducive to being trustworthy.”

Her phrases mirror these of her father, who lately shared in a video his personal reflections on what occurred. 

“I can say to all of you there isn’t a a part of me that thinks that was the proper strategy to behave in that second,” the “Males In Black” star stated. “There isn’t any a part of me that thinks that is the optimum strategy to deal with a sense of disrespect or insults.”
