Brooke Shields says ex Andre Agassi ‘smashed all his trophies’ after her ‘Associates’ look

Behind the facade of an illustrious profession and relationship with former No. 1 ranked tennis participant Andre Agassi, Brooke Shields was challenged and struggling.

Whereas selling her new documentary, “Fairly Child: Brooke Shields,” the 57-year-old mannequin and actress revealed that Agassi, whom she was married to for 2 years, was “petulant” after she guest-starred on the sitcom “Associates” in 1996.

“Andre was within the viewers supporting me, and he stormed out,” Shields recalled of the present’s taping in an interview with The New Yorker. “He stated, ‘Everyone’s making enjoyable of me. You made a idiot of me by that conduct.’”

After which the second take, they scream, ‘Shields! Put it again in!'”

After Agassi voiced his frustration with the scene, Shields remembers being confused.

“I’m, like, ‘It’s comedy! What’s the matter with you?’ I realized later that he was hooked on crystal meth at that time, in order that irrational conduct I’m certain had one thing to do with that.” 

“It was petulant conduct,” she stated of Agassi’s response. “It co-opted [‘Friends’] for me emotionally as a result of unexpectedly then my focus went to him,” she stated.

In his 2009 memoir “Open,” Agassi detailed his abuse of crystal meth in 1997 whereas he was taking part in tennis.
