Dibrugarh Airport Bags First Prize For ‘Best Decorated Airport’ In India On Independence Day

Dibrugarh Airport in Assam received the primary prize within the contest held for the ‘best-decorated airport’ in category-III on the event of Independence Day 2019.

The airport, situated in Mohanbari at a distance about 15 km from Dibrugarh city selected aviation theme and was decked with spectacular rangoli patterns and lighting on the terminal constructing, which helped the airport safe the primary place within the contest organised by Airport Authority of India (AAI).

Amongst class III, Dibrugarh Airport received the primary prize. Whereas Gaya Airport received second prize and Mysore & Bhopal Airports collectively received the third prize.

Amongst class I, Trivandrum Airport bagged the primary prize. Whereas Kolkata Airport received second prize and Calicut & Chennai Airport collectively received the third prize.

Amongst class II, Vadodara Airport bagged the primary prize. Whereas Madurai Airport received second prize and Surat Airport received the third prize.
