Deepika Padukone Visits JNU Students, Leaves Without Addressing Crowd

New Delhi: Bollywood star Deepika Padukone on Tuesday visited the Jawaharlal Nehru College to precise solidarity with the scholars who have been attacked by a violent mob however left with out addressing the gang.

Her determination to not deal with the gang prompted JNUSU pupil chief Aishe Ghosh to remark, “when you are in a position, you should speak up”.

The 34-year-old actor is within the capital to advertise her upcoming launch, Meghna Gulzar-directed “Chhapaak”.

A masked mob armed with sticks and rods on Sunday attacked college students and academics and broken property on the campus, injuring no less than 35 folks.
