Coronavirus Relief: Ambanis Donates Rs 1 Crore To Meghalaya CM’s Relief Fund

Industrialist Mukesh Ambani, his spouse, Nita Ambani and Reliance Industries Restricted have donated Rs 1 crore in direction of the Meghalaya Chief Minister’s Reduction Fund for the combat in opposition to COVID-19.

Taking to Twitter, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Okay Sangma thanked the enterprise tycoon, his spouse and Reliance Industries for the beneficiant contribution.

“Thank you Mukesh Ambani ji, Nita Ambani ji & #RelianceIndustriesLimited for your generous donation of Rs. 1 Crore towards the Meghalaya Chief Minister’s Relief Fund,” Sangma tweeted.

“Donations from accountable company residents will go a great distance in championing our combat in opposition to COVID-19; the CM added.

It must be talked about right here that Meghalaya has not reported any COVID-19 case thus far.

Ambani’s Reliance Restricted has donated Rs 500 crore to PM’s Reduction Fund apart from Rs 5 crore every to CM Reduction Fund of Maharashtra and Gujarat to help their combat in opposition to coronavirus pandemic.

These are along with the 100-bedded devoted coronavirus hospital in Mumbai, manufacturing 1 lakh protecting face masks per day, 50 lakh free meals to the needy via non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and gasoline to emergency autos carrying COVID-19 sufferers.
