Bengaluru: In a final stage snag, the communication hyperlink between India’s moon lander Vikram and the moon orbiter bought snapped as the previous was descending in direction of the moon’s South Pole early on Saturday, throwing suspense over the destiny of Rs 978 crore Chandrayaan-2 mission.
Saying the snapping of communication hyperlink, Indian House Analysis Organisation (ISRO) Chairman Okay. Sivan mentioned, the efficiency of the lander was as per the plan until it was 2.1 km from the moon floor. The communication hyperlink bought snapped after that, he added.
On the display it was seen that Vikram barely modified from its deliberate path after which the communication hyperlink bought snapped.
