Chandrayaan-2: We Shall Overcome Some Day, Says President Kovind

New Delhi: “Hum honge kamayab, mann me hai vishwas, poora hai vishwas hum honge kamyaab ek din,” that is how President Ram Nath Kovind summed up his ideas on the Chandrayan-2 mission on Saturday.

ISRO’s plan to smooth land Chandrayaan-2’s Vikram module on the Lunar floor didn’t go as per script within the early hours of Saturday, with the lander dropping communication with floor stations throughout its last descent.

The president hoped that India would achieve success in its moon mission the following time.

He mentioned he himself had seen the huge provider, “bahubali”, in Sriharikota when he visited the meeting level.

“We covered 3.84 lakh-km journey successfully, only 2.1 km were left. The distance left is negligible on such a huge scale. It’s such a huge achievement,” he mentioned.

Lauding the scientists for his or her dedication to their work, the president mentioned he had met a scientist who had left her child again in Bengaluru.
