Bhubaneswar To Host 8 Matches Of FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup

Bhubaneswar: The capital metropolis of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, will host a complete of eight matches of the upcoming FIFA Below-17 Ladies’s World Cup which is scheduled to happen from February 17 to March 7, subsequent yr.

The All India Soccer Federation immediately launched the up to date match schedule for the match which stated that six group-stage matches, one quarter and one semi-final match can be performed at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

The tourney will kick-start on the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati and the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar with matches in Group A and Group B respectively.

The league matches can be held on February 17, 20 and 23 whereas quarter-finals can be performed on February 28 and semi-finals on March 3. The third-place match and the ultimate will happen in Navi Mumbai on March 7.

Kalinga Stadium is among the many 5 venues the place the match can be performed. The opposite host cities are Navi Mumbai, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and Kolkata. The 5 cities will host 32 matches involving 16 groups.

The competitors which was earlier presupposed to happen in November 2020 was rescheduled within the wake of coronavirus pandemic.

That is the second time India is internet hosting a FIFA match. Earlier, FIFA U-17 Males’s World Cup was held in India in 2017.
