BCCI President Has Not Spoken To Me On Dhoni Yet, Will Meet Him When He Calls: Kohli

Ranchi: India captain Virat Kohli on Tuesday stated he hasn’t had any dialog with Sourav Ganguly almost about Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s worldwide future and believes that the BCCI’s President-elect will get in contact with him when he must.

Dhoni, who’s on a sabbatical from worldwide cricket, isn’t anticipated to play in opposition to Bangladesh within the upcoming T20 collection.
He dropped in to fulfill the Indian crew members and Kohli jokingly advised journalists to return to the change room and say “hello” to the previous skipper.

“I congratulated him (Ganguly). It’s great that he has become BCCI President. But he’s not spoken to me about that (MS) yet. He will get in touch with me when he has to. I am sure I will go and meet him when he tells me to,” the Indian skipper stated on the post-match press convention.

The truth is, Ganguly on Monday stated that he’ll communicate to Kohli on October 24 as he believes that the choice to choose out of the Bangladesh T20 collection, which begins November 3, rests with the Indian captain.

“I will meet him (Kohli) just like a BCCI president meets the Indian captain. It’s upto him to decide if he wants rest,” Ganguly had advised reporters.
