Ayodhya DM Hands Over Masjid Land To Sunni Waqf Board

Ayodhya: Because the countdown for the grand ceremony of ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ for the development of the Ram temple started, Ayodhya District Justice of the Peace Anuj Kumar Jha handed over the five-acre land to the Sunni Waqf Board at Dhannipur village in Faizabad, as mandated by the Supreme Court docket in lieu of the Babri mosque.

A delegation of the newly shaped Masjid Belief — Indo-Islamic Cultural Basis led by its president Zufar Faruqi and the Board’s Chief Government Officer Sayyad Mohammad Shoib met Ayodhya DM Anuj Kumar Jha on the latter’s residence.

Speaking to IANS, Board CEO Shoib mentioned, “Today the district magistrate formally handed over the possession of land for the mosque to the Trust members. He handed over the certified copy of revenue record (Khatauni).”

The Supreme Court docket in its Ayodhya verdict of November 9, 2019, mandated a five-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board at a distinguished place in Ayodhya.

In February 2020, the Uttar Pradesh authorities introduced the allotment of land at Dhannipur village in Sadar Tahsil of Faizabad in District Ayodhya about 25 kilometers away from Ram Janmabhoomi.

On July 29, 2020, the Sunni Waqf Board introduced a nine-member belief that may take up the job of constructing the mosque, nevertheless, the Board will embrace six extra trustees later.

Board CEO Shoib mentioned the members of the belief will meet quickly and determine on the additional plan of action.
