The Lilabari Airport in Assam’s Lakhimpur district will quickly develop into an aviation hub.

Will probably be the 4th aviation coaching centre of the nation after Prayagraj (Allahabad), Delhi and Hyderabad.

This was said by Director of Lilabari Airport Shivanand B Benal through the Advisory Committee Assembly of the airport on Monday, November 4.

Shivanand B Benal mentioned that the Airports Authority of India had requested for 25 acres of land for aviation manpower coaching academy at Lilabari airport and one other 84 acre for growth of runway and isolation bay.
