Armed forces shower petals pan India to honour corona warriors

New Delhi: The Indian Air Power (IAF) jets and transport planes throughout India on Sunday showered petals on hospitals and locations of nationwide significance to point out honour and categorical their gratitude in direction of the coronavirus warriors who’re battling the pandemic.

It was a part of the nationwide thanksgiving effort by the armed forces to honour docs, paramedics, sanitation workers, police and different front-line staff battling coronavirus within the nation.

In Mumbai, army plane dropped petals on the King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital and Kasturba Gandhi Hospital, amongst others. The IAF choppers showered flower petals on the Rajiv Gandhi Authorities Basic Hospital in Chennai to pay tribute to healthcare staff combating Covid-19 pandemic. The IAF fighter jets from the Western Air Command dropped petals at Delhi’s Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Tremendous Speciality Hospital and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital.
