4.6 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Myanmar, Tremors Felt In Nagaland


An earthquake was felt within the northeastern state of Nagaland on Thursday, December 24.
The quake struck at 1:39 pm in neighbouring nation Myanmar and its tremors had been felt in Nagaland as effectively.
In accordance with the National Centre for Seismology, the epicentre of the 4.6 magnitude quake was situated in Myanmar, 217 kilometres east-southeast of Mokokchung in Nagaland.
The quake was situated at a depth of 100 kms.

Since the previous few months, the northeastern area has been experiencing frequent tremors. Earlier at the moment, an earthquake measuring 3.zero on Richter Scale jolted Assam.
