Twelve extra Border Safety Pressure (BSF) jawans examined constructive for COVID-19 in Tripura on Sunday.
With 12 new instances, the overall variety of constructive sufferers in Tripura now stands at 16.
“12 persons from 138th BSF unit Ambassa found COVID-19 positive. Total COVID-19 positive cases in Tripura stands at 16 (2 already discharged, so active cases : 14),” Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb tweeted.
“Don’t panic, follow the Govt guidelines. We are working vigilantly for your safety,” he added.

Earlier on Saturday, two BSF personnel from Ambassa in Tripura discovered COVID-19 constructive.
Tripura has up to now reported 16 COVID-19 instances. Out of which, 2 sufferers have recovered. The overall variety of lively instances within the state now stands at 14.
