Srinagar: Not less than 11 civilians have been injured on Saturday when militants hurled a grenade at a crowded market in summer season capital Srinagar.
Police stated militants hurled a grenade on the Hari Singh Excessive Road in Srinagar when distributors have been promoting items and the market was crowded with customers.
“At least 11 civilians have been injured in this grenade explosion. All the injured have been shifted to hospital and the area has been cordoned off for searches,” police stated.
Militants have been threatening shopkeepers, transport operators and different enterprise institutions to not resume regular actions since August 5 when Article 370 was abrogated.
